Process Automation

Automation is the key to improving manufacturing efficiency without compromising product quality. In an automated process numerous sensors and actuators throughout the plant enable the automation controller to operate multiple pieces of machinery concurrently in a coordinated manner such that all operations occur at exactly the right time without requiring human intervention. One human operator is thereby empowered to supervise the operation of a large area of plant that would otherwise require a number of operators to manage.

Continuous monitoring and control of process parameters ensures that the product is manufactured to the required specification at all times. The automation controller continuously monitors critical process variables making adjustments where necessary, and can bring to the attention of the operator any deviation that could result in product quality problems or potentially cause damage to equipment and personnel.
